Sportable

Four apps. One club. One identity.

Software for the people who run Australian sport — the office, the competition desk, the coach on the floor and the athlete. Each app does its own job properly, and they share the club rather than asking anyone to key it in twice.

The apps

Each one does its own job properly.

Four products, not four tabs of one. A club can start with the one it needs today and add the others when they'd actually earn their place.

Manageable

Club operations

The system of record for a club: who its people are, what it runs, when it runs and what it costs. Everything else in the suite builds on this.

  • Members and families, with guardians, medical notes and consents on one record
  • Staff accreditation as dated records that warn before they lapse
  • Classes and squads with enforced capacity, term timetables and rolls marked from the floor
  • Fees held in exact cents, so totals never drift by a rounding error

Scoreable

Competition

Running the competition itself — from the entry list through judging to the results that go out to families the same day.

  • Multi-sport by design, not one sport with the others bolted on
  • Events, sessions and entries, with divisions and age groups
  • Judging panels and score entry built for the people actually at the desk
  • Results published once, and correct — no spreadsheet in the middle

Coachable

Coaching

Training plans attached to the club's real classes, and a library coaches can share material through rather than passing files around.

  • Plans hang off the classes Manageable already knows about
  • A shared library, searchable, instead of a folder on someone's laptop
  • Written for the coach on the floor, not the administrator at a desk

Trainable

Athletes

The athlete's own view: the plan for the classes they're enrolled in, and an honest record of how they're progressing.

  • Athletes see the plan for their own enrolments, and nothing else
  • Progression tracked over a season rather than guessed at
  • Their own record, visible to the coaches who work with them

How it fits together

Shared identity, separate records.

The suite is joined at the identity and nowhere else. That is the part worth understanding, because it's what makes adding a second app cheap and what keeps a club's data its own.

1

The club lives in Manageable

People, staff, classes, sessions and fees. It is the system of record, and the only place a club keys its people in.

2

One identity, minted once

Manageable issues the person and club identity the rest of the suite recognises. Nobody re-enters a member in four places.

3

Each app keeps its own database

A club's records are never pooled across apps, and never pooled with another club's. Separation is structural, not a setting.

4

Apps ask, they don't copy

An authenticated app-to-app channel lets a sibling ask who someone is and which clubs they work for — rather than holding a stale copy.

Where this actually stands. Manageable and Scoreable are live today. The shared person and club identity, and the authenticated app-to-app channel that lets a sibling ask "who is this, and which clubs do they work for", are built and running. Coachable and Trainable are in development, as are the app-specific integrations on top of that channel — competition nominations, training plans, athlete progression. We would rather say so than sell them early.

Platform

The careful parts are built in, not bolted on.

Every app in the suite inherits the same foundations, so nothing important depends on remembering to switch it on.

Access per module

Viewer, editor and admin per area, per person. No shared logins.

One club can't see another

Every record is scoped to its club — including files and history.

Version history

Every change to every record captured, browsable and attributable.

Files & photos

Attach documents to any record; take photos straight from a phone.

Library search

Every module's files searchable in one place, linked to their records.

Works on the floor

Phone and tablet layouts for marking rolls where the class is.

Passwordless sign-in

A one-time code by email — nothing for a volunteer to forget.

Nothing deleted by accident

Records are retired rather than destroyed, and can be brought back.
